Biography

The Second Level (Daniel Helenius) is a DJ / producer from Helsinki, Finland. His music style could be best described as a mix of Melbourne bounce, energetic future house and big dance music tunes with intriquing melodies and massive sound.

After winning a mixtape competition in 2013, he was discovered by Weekend Festival’s head promoter Hardi Loog. Hardi decided to give The Second Level a chance to test his talent as a support act at David Guetta’s outdoor show in Estonia 2014 summer where he also came in contact with his future manager Sami Vepsäläinen. The Second Level proved immediately that he can work under pressure and make a great performance on a big outdoor stage as easily as he can entertain a crowd in a more intimate club environment.

At Weekend Festival 2015 The Second Level played a closing finale for over 30.000 poeple after Avicii had left the stage and was also credited in the festivals after movie. In 2016 The Second Level played several festival and club shows including a record breaking stint of 4 shows in 36 hours during Weekend Festival Finland and Weekend Festival Estonia. He also released his first single ‘Monday feat. Lola Loog’, which was accompanied by a music video featuring shots of his performances at Weekend Festival and club shows both in Finland and Estonia. The video is no doubt one of the biggest electronic dance music videos produced in Finland.

In addition to great live shows The Second Level put his focus in studio work and released some more singles while doing selected performances at clubs and festivals. His singe 'Sun Comes Up' featured and Estonian pop singer Ariadne and was produced in collaboration with the Finnish dance music legend JS16 who also co-wrote Darude’s legendary 'Sandstorm'. ‘Sun Comes Up’ was quickly picked up by the biggest Estonian radios and has been on listed on Top100 tracks in Finland and Estonia on Spotify.

The Second Level's performance at Weekend Festival 2019 introduced his new style and took his live performance literally to the next level. Being one of the most potential upcoming DJ/producers you can expect some banging hits from The Second level and make sure you don't miss his energetic live shows which can easily be compared with big EDM superstars.

In 2021 The Second Level's collaborated with Tungevaag on their single 'Stay' which features beautiful vocals by MVRT, the winner of The Voice of Poland TV format. In addition he signed a label contract with Warner Music and released two more signles that year breaching a total 10 millios Spotify streams soon after. In 2021 The Second Level collaborated with the distinguished song writer Alida on his catchy single 'It's Gonna Be Okay' and signed a new management deal with Mickster Management in Netherlands that also works with Lucas & Steve and Joe Stone. Biography

JS16 (Jaakko Salovaara) is the most acclaimed Finnish dance music producer and a DJ with experience in all forms of electronic and urban music. He has produced Bomfunk MC's smash hit "Freestyler" as well as Darude's single "Sandstorm" which both have sold millions of physical copies and streamed more than 100 million on Spotify and YouTube. Jaakko is also a founder of his own label 16 Inch Records which has produced various hits around the world.

After producing countless gold and platinum records for other artists on demand by their labels JS16 turned his focus back to the international dance floors with his single 'Gateway1999', which marked his return to the club music as a producer and touring DJ and it will be exciting to see where it will take him next. JS16's latest track with Norwegian rapper Stella Mwangi is an interesting mix of modern and classic dance music with some Future House elements in the drop, make sure you check it out!

Biography

Devinity is a solo production project by Joel Pirinen. The Finnish musician impressed with his 2016 release "Crystals" featuring vocals from Heather Sommer and is set to continue turning heads with his unique and stylistic exploration into the extent of electronic music. Joel is known for combining elements of many different genres into beautiful future bass and house tracks. In 2018 he did a lot of studio work with The Second Level as well as other artists and started releasing his new music.
